Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Prysmian Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying existing equipment, as well as fabricating and installing new machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Correct any shortcomings detected that could contribute to unsafe conditions or interfere with production
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workshop and maintenance parts storage locations
  • Complete Preventative Maintenance Work Orders assigned by the supervisor
  • Perform various other duties as requested from time to time, such as upkeep of grounds, snow removal, painting, and furniture moving
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance person required
  • Able to read and comprehend written specifications, procedures, blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
  • Holds a Certificate of qualification as an Industrial Mechanic or accepted equivalent preferable
