Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Monitor and detect potential security threats, and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into existing systems and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide guidance on best practices for security.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, including NIST and RMF.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and compliance, including AWS and Azure.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
