Primary Care Internal Medicine Specialist

Coverage Type: No Call

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday with a commitment to provide consistent coverage over several months.
  • Operating Hours: Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Frequency: Monday through Friday.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Setting: Primary Care Facility
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Number of Providers Needed: 1
  • Responsibilities: General Primary Care
  • Required Procedures: Not mandatory; based on the provider's comfort level.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Cerner
  • Support Staff: RN or LVN available on-site with own Medical Assistant.
  • Reason for Coverage: Transition due to physician retirement.
  • Essential Availability: Must be available Monday to Friday with a commitment to consistent coverage.
  • Additional Information:
  • Patient Load: Outpatient setting with approximately 16-18 patients per day.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to commence work upon credentialing.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; Family Medicine candidates will not be considered.
  • California Medical License is mandatory.
  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency is required.
  • Clean malpractice history is preferred.
  • Submission of 2-3 references at the time of presentation is required (references must be from a Supervisor/Manager or higher).
