Certified Pharmacy Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical pharmacists in delivering high-quality services.

• Assist pharmacists with medication histories and train junior technicians
• Prepare and verify drug orders, maintain accurate patient records, and compound pharmaceuticals
• Issue controlled substances, maintain records, and provide services efficiently and in a timely manner
• Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities, collect data, and conduct inspections
• Provide accurate and timely drug information to patients and their families, and coordinate pharmacist education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice required
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
