Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electroplater to join our team at All Metals Processing of Orange County LLC. As an Electroplater, you will be responsible for performing the plating of metallic parts to enhance corrosion protection and/or abrasion resistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute plating processes and sequences to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to set voltage and amperage requirements.
  • Clean and prepare metallic parts for plating by dipping them into acid tanks.
  • Monitor and inspect plated parts to ensure uniform coverage and quality.
  • Log data into computer systems for completed parts and processes.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders.
  • Ability to follow instructions, specifications, and plating procedures.
  • Knowledge of using calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
  • Experience with procedures for running acid tanks and equipment setup for plating.
  • Attention to detail to identify problems with parts.
  • Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
Physical Demands
  • Walking/standing for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Exposure to heat, noise, and chemical fumes in production areas.
