Position: Room Attendant

Supervisor: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary: Responsible for the thorough cleaning and replenishment of all designated guest accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect additional cleaning supplies and guest room essentials from the Housekeeping department.
  • Efficiently clean the assigned number of rooms daily in accordance with established standards.
  • Sanitize guest rooms, assist guests, and address any guest-related concerns.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work area at all times.
  • Replace guest room amenities as required.
  • Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Engineering team.
  • Keep linen storage areas orderly.
  • Prepare and stock supplies for the following day.
  • Check vacuum bags regularly, emptying them when full.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests as needed.
  • Document and return lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience: This role requires a minimum of some high school education and at least six months of relevant work experience.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Team Dynamics: This position is part of a structured work team within the department.

Availability: Part-time role, with a requirement to be available during weekends and holidays.
