Material Handler

C/A Design, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of custom engineered cooling solutions, and as a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Count, weigh, and measure incoming and outgoing items to verify accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
- Shipping and Receiving: Examine shipments for damage or shortages, correspond with shippers to resolve issues, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock and reorganize storage.
- Loading and Unloading: Participate in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks.
- Ordering and Purchasing: Participate in ordering or purchasing standard stock items.
- Driving and Operations: May be required to drive and operate a box truck locally as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Pallet jack experience required; forklift certification preferred. General computer knowledge and good verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
