About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the improvement of human life through the performance of radiological diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating diagnostic equipment.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety.
- Process images, prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure a positive patient encounter by scheduling patients, overseeing patient transportation, and ordering supplies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- RT Certification from ARRT is required.
