Textile Embroidery Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled textile embroidery technician to become a vital part of our team at Graphic Trade Printers. The technician's role encompasses setting up embroidery machines, selecting appropriate tools and materials, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all projects meet client specifications. Regular maintenance duties and providing creative insights will also be part of your responsibilities.
To excel as a textile embroidery technician, you should possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple work orders effectively. Exceptional candidates will demonstrate both analytical and creative capabilities.
Textile Embroidery Technician Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting and understanding project specifications and client requirements prior to commencing each embroidery task.
  • Choosing the suitable thread, fabric, hoops, and designs tailored to each project.
  • Setting up machinery and overseeing the embroidery workflow.
  • Carefully reviewing instructional manuals to facilitate effective troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Conducting routine machine and inventory inspections, reporting any issues, and managing stock reorders as necessary.
  • Offering recommendations on design, placement, and selection of fabric and thread.
  • Creating guides or pinning tissue paper patterns onto fabric.
  • Providing training and support to new team members.
  • Monitoring work orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure timely dispatch of all orders.

Textile Embroidery Technician Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders and instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities.
