Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Federal Signal Corporation. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies per drawings and verbal instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Fabrication: Assemble components and sub-assemblies per drawings and verbal instructions.
  • Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical Applications: Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical applications as required.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
  • Overtime Commitment: Be willing to work overtime when needed to meet production demands.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and build tickets.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
