Novant Health Cancer Institute-New Hanover, a state-of-the-art regional cancer center, seeks a hematologist/oncologist to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina.
- Predominantly outpatient practice with a hospital-based setting
- Treat patients in our QOPI-certified office in neighboring Brunswick County
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, and surgical oncology
- Participate in tumor board collaboration, multidisciplinary clinics, and advanced hospice and palliative care opportunities
- Take advantage of our relationship with the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and become a UNC clinical professor
- Join a team of 11 medical oncologists and 8 advanced practice providers with plans to add at least two more physicians within the next 12 to 18 months
- Enjoy a call schedule of 1 in 11 and evenly distributed
- Benefit from a robust hospitalist service managing admissions
- Focus on disease site specialization with the majority of our physicians concentrating on one or two primary disease sites
We seek a board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist and hematologist with a strong interest in practice leadership.
- New graduates or experienced candidates will be considered
Our patient population is 18+ years old.
