Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare cleaning carts with necessary supplies and maintain a tidy storage area to facilitate efficient room cleaning.
  2. Thoroughly clean and sanitize windows, doors, walls, and fixtures in guest rooms, public spaces, and corridors.
  3. Ensure restrooms are kept in pristine condition by cleaning toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and restocking necessary items.
  4. Replace used towels, toiletries, and room amenities to guarantee a welcoming experience for incoming guests.
  5. Manually clean hard floor surfaces to eliminate dirt and maintain a polished appearance.
  6. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to enhance the overall aesthetic of the hotel.
  7. Strip beds of used linens and remake them with fresh bedding to ensure comfort for guests.
  8. Inspect closets for cleanliness and replenish guest supplies as needed.
  9. Vacuum all areas including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
  10. Check the functionality of door and window locks, reporting any security concerns to management promptly.
  11. Test lights and remotes to confirm they are operational for guest convenience.
  12. Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.
  13. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and pushing equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $9.50 to $12/hour, negotiable

Job Status: Full Time, Part Time
