Job Title: Elementary Pastor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Pastor to join our team at Crosspoint City Church. As a key member of our Kids Ministry, you will be responsible for designing and developing ministry systems, tools, teams, and resources to effectively disciple elementary kids and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and shepherd the Cartersville Elementary Team to effectively disciple elementary school kids
  • Partner with Cartersville parents to help them disciple their elementary kids
  • Design and maintain all Elementary Ministry systems and training
  • Develop EPOD for Elementary Ministry to be implemented at all locations
  • Communicate regularly with the Cartersville Elementary Serve Team and families
  • Choose, prepare, and distribute curriculum and all related resources for Elementary Ministry activities/events
  • Manage and create content for the Elementary Ministry social media accounts and general communication to Elementary families
  • Facilitate childcare for Elementary age group for church-wide special events
  • Be available as a coach, train, and resource all Kids Ministry staff at all locations
  • Recruit, prepare, equip, and encourage Serve Team Members
  • Collaborate with all Kids Team Staff to develop & implement Kids Camp
  • Lead and develop staff, apprentices, and interns (if applicable)
  • Ensure excellence in all areas of your ministry
  • Steward effectively and efficiently the budget and all resources related to your ministry
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check
  • Doctrinal beliefs congruent with Crosspoint City Church
  • Possess the ability to inspire, instruct, and encourage through effective communication in various settings
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with confidential matters and materials
  • Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and members face to face
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively
  • Confidentiality of personal and church information is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position encompasses indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. It necessitates the capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and flexible movement. Occasionally, lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds with assistance may be required. Proficiency in operating a computer, phone system, and other office equipment is necessary.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work consist of ministerial duties during all weekly Gatherings (Thursday, 7:00 pm and Sunday, 9:15 am and 11:15 am) and in-person office during normal office hours (Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
