Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners.
- Clinical Expertise: Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate plans of care utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and patient education.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members, direct, and facilitate nursing staff in obtaining safe, optimal healthcare outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the satisfaction of department outcomes, including patients, families, peers, employees, and physicians, through effective communication and responsiveness to customer issues.
- Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- License and Certification: Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas, BLS from the American Heart Association, and ACLS completion within 3 months of hire.
