Job Summary

The CDL Shuttle Driver is responsible for operating a shuttle bus on the airfield, transporting passengers due to emergent issues or non-gated planes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a valid Georgia CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, and a current DOT Physical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a shuttle bus on a designated transportation route on the airfield
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with the Tower via 2-way radio
  • Comply with all safety, security, and compliance standards and procedures
  • Perform before/during/after operations and safety equipment checks/inspections
  • Ensure the bus is fueled for daily operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with Passenger endorsement
  • Current Medical Examiner's certificate
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DOT medical/drug screening
  • At least two years of commercial driving experience
