As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, medications, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification.
