We are seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Associate to join our team at SourcePro Search, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a first-rate professional to work on various aspects of trademark applications and enforcement matters.
- This role involves docketing and maintaining deadlines related to all phases of trademark applications and enforcement matters in our database.
- The successful candidate will review incoming correspondence from the USPTO, foreign associates, attorneys, and paralegals to ensure accurate docketing.
- A comprehensive docket and status report will be prepared and circulated as needed to attorneys and clients.
- The ideal candidate must closely monitor deadlines and follow up with attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Changes in title, owner, address, and counsel will be recorded as appropriate.
- The selected individual will support paralegals with trademark maintenance by reviewing docket entries, preparing established forms to send correspondence to clients about upcoming deadlines.
- Written communications will be prepared for foreign associates, attorneys, and clients during the screening, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of domestic and foreign trademark applications and registrations.
- Diligence searches, research assignments, and administrative projects will be assisted with, and reports will be prepared in connection therewith.
- Documentation will be coordinated for the prosecution or defense of contested matters worldwide.
- The selected candidate will provide support to the trademark team as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college is preferred.
- Three plus years of law firm experience is preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft software products with Excel skills is preferred.
- Enjoy working with a team.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and location.
