Job Overview:

The Pro Shop Sales Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience at our golf course. This position involves assisting patrons with their needs and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage tee time bookings efficiently.
  2. Oversee the rental of golf equipment.
  3. Assign golf carts and coordinate tee times.
  4. Promote and sell merchandise available in the shop.
  5. Open and close the Pro Shop, ensuring security and organization.
  6. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, including stocking shelves.
  7. Collaborate with management regarding merchandise and equipment orders.
  8. Handle cash register operations, including daily cash outs and deposits.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

N/A

Qualifications:

No prior experience or formal education is required. A strong customer service orientation is essential, and familiarity with golf is advantageous.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety guidelines and operational instructions. Capable of effectively communicating in both individual and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and capable of calculating discounts and totals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and resolve straightforward problems.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to walk, stand, reach, sit, talk, and hear. Occasionally, lifting up to 25 lbs may be necessary.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a typical retail setting within a golf course, characterized by moderate noise levels.
