Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week contract in Reno, Nevada.

Job Summary:

As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient departments. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of the imaging department.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound exams
  • Operate various ultrasonic imaging units and reading and reporting systems
  • Keep current on technological advances within all aspects of imaging
  • Acquire necessary skills to perform new ultrasonic examinations and modalities
  • Review images for identification, technique, and completeness
  • Function as a role model and professional resource to patients, physicians, peers, and the general public
  • Provide training to new department staff members and sonography students
  • Participate in educational sessions and contribute technical and professional knowledge to students, allied health professionals, and physicians
Requirements:
  • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS or RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS)
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in the respective department
  • CPR certification upon hire
  • AHA BLS within 60 days of hire
