Job Summary:
Ancho & Agave is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Restock and organize bar supplies and ingredients.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and high-quality customer experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bartender in a high-volume setting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid alcohol certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
- Elevated knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
- Experience serving food and ability to describe and make menu recommendations.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
- High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.
- Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Executing opening and closing procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
