About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Primary Health Medical Group. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform X-Rays in accordance with Primary Health policies and procedures
  • Display exceptional customer service skills on the phone and in person
  • Assist Front Office Staff in managing patient details, schedules, and referrals
  • Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider and/or physician
  • Provide clinical triage/communication as defined by protocol or per provider instructions
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients, including sterilization, cleaning, and checks on medical equipment
  • Prepare basic laboratory tests on premises and prepare laboratory specimens
  • Perform Phlebotomy involved with proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages
  • Assist back office in managing patient flow, paperwork, and documentation
  • Provide quality patient education based on assessment of needs
  • Perform tests and procedures as ordered
  • Accurately document patient encounters and interventions performed
  • Relay provider instruction to patients
  • Assist with all non-direct patient care tasks (autoclaving, stocking room, scanning records, mailing, etc.)
  • Aid in identifying methods of improving patient care
  • Assist or lead in emergency situations
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the organization, i.e. HIPAA
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Qualified applicants must be ARRT registered or eligible to sit for the registry exam
  • Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
  • Computer proficiency, ability to use applicable software as required performing the essential functions of the job
  • Vaccines to include annual Influenza, Hep B, TDaP, and TB
