We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Essentia Health-Virginia. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This is a casual position, working Monday through Friday, with no call obligations.
Responsibilities:
* Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing general, orthopedic, podiatric, gynecologic, ophthalmologic, and ENT surgeries
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
* Demonstrate leadership skills through involvement in committees, team projects, education, and research
* Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the practice of nursing
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia
* Current licensure in the state of practice
* Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
