We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Manager for our Medical/Surgical Unit with Telemetry. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of caregivers, while also providing direct patient care to a set number of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Directs and manages the care of patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit with Telemetry, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provides leadership and direction to a team of caregivers, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Develops and implements patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
- Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical Unit with Telemetry.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in directing and managing a team of caregivers.
