Phone Collector

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Phone Specialist to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a Phone Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting past due payments from small business account holders over the phone, while maintaining the highest standards of client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolution Support: Contact past due clients to secure payment arrangements or apply the appropriate treatment to resolve delinquency.
• Client Service: Establish rapport and deliver exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and call quality.
• Operational Support: Document accounts, use correct system coding, and submit account maintenance with accuracy.
• Procedural: Maintain a strong knowledge of Bank policies while navigating multiple systems to ensure procedures and applicable regulations are followed at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in Business Collections
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of and ability to follow Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations at all times
• Effective communication skills to include active listening, empathy, Ability to negotiate and collect, Ability to type and talk and work in multiple systems simultaneously, Level of attention to detail and accuracy including written skills
