Job Title: Registered Nurse - Triage

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Triage to join our OB/GYN team at St. Mary Physicians Group, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic.

Job Summary:

The Triage RN performs a variety of duties, including assessing and triaging phone calls, discussing testing results with patients, and working with physicians and nurses to resolve patient questions and concerns.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and triage phone calls from patients, providing medical advice and guidance as needed.
  • Discuss testing results with patients, explaining the results and any necessary next steps.
  • Work with physicians and nurses to resolve patient questions and concerns, providing education and support as needed.
  • Record and maintain accurate patient and physician communications in medical records.
  • Review physician's PAQ and respond appropriately.
  • Address patient requests in a timely manner.
  • Submit new prescriptions and refill prescriptions electronically or by fax, recording all information in medical records.
Requirements:
  • Current/active Pennsylvania RN License.
  • BLS certification.
  • Telephone Triage Nurse Experience (preferred).
