About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Lawton Senior Living. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the use of our data science platform to apply cutting-edge techniques to unique cancer datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement customer data science and analytical use cases
  • Provide trusted technical advice to partners and clients
  • Engage with customers throughout their time working with our platform, including training and onboarding
  • Filter for data of interest and support customers in making progress against a roadmap

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, computer science, or related field, or 3+ years experience working with genomic and clinical data
  • Experience working with statistical modeling, data mining and/or machine learning methods
  • Proficiency in R or python and/or other programming languages
  • Strong project management and post-sales skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with standard bioinformatics pipelines
  • Familiarity with the oncology pharmaceutical landscape
  • Experience putting data science workflows into production
  • Experience with software development and the AWS or GCP technical stack
  • External outreach or education (consulting, giving talks, teaching, open source contributions)
