Job Summary

This position requires the candidate to possess a School Nurse Services credential and an audiometry credential. In-house candidates must submit specific documents, while outside candidates must include additional documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services, collaborating with staff, and promoting student health and safety.

As a key member of the district's team, the District Nurse will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement effective health education programs for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote healthy behaviors and prevent illnesses.
  • Maintain accurate records of student health information and medical treatment.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
