Job Title: Physical Therapist

Iberia Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing medically necessary physical therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and promote healing.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in various settings, including home health, outpatient, and inpatient
  • Monitor and assess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Supervise the delivery of treatment to patients and assist with scheduling
  • Document patient care and assist with daily operations of outpatient and inpatient rehab services
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from an approved school
  • Current valid Physical Therapy License in Louisiana, or a temporary permit granted by LSBPTE
  • Successful completion of long-term clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient environments, or one year of recent experience in inpatient or outpatient practice
