As a key member of our emergency response program, you will be responsible for responding to hazardous material releases and incidents, protecting public health, safety, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to hazardous material releases and incidents, wearing Level D through Level A chemical protective equipment as required.
  • Identify, classify, and verify known and unknown hazardous materials using field monitoring equipment.
  • Attend training sessions associated with assigned duties.
  • Issue complete and comprehensive incident reports.
  • Perform related work as required.

Requirements:

  • Meet the minimum requirements listed on the NJCSC Job Description.
  • Be available for after-hours on-call duty.
  • Hold a valid NJ Driver's License.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working on-site at Monmouth County (NJ) facilities. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations as needed.
