LPN Opportunity at Briarfield Health Care Centers

Briarfield Health Care Centers is a leading provider of healthcare services in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promoting their well-being and dignity.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of Resident Assistants (RAs) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
  • Demonstrate excellent literacy, writing, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Makes prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies.
  • Works and communicates effectively with minimum supervision in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Nursing degree from an accredited program or college/university.
  • Current, unencumbered, active Ohio LPN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of experience in elderly care preferred.
