Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to individuals and groups, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care strategies, sharing your expertise and insights to promote effective care.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP License: Hold a valid SLP license in the state where you will be practicing.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or be eligible for certification.
  • Experience Working with Diverse Populations: Have previous experience working with diverse populations and age groups, including children and adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
