Job Description
This position involves working as a Speech and Language Therapist in a dynamic and supportive school district. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with diverse students and families.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized instruction plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Kansas
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Estimated Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
