Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently assembles and prepares orders for dispatch to clients or internal departments.
- Handles loading and unloading of shipments from both common carriers and company vehicles.
- Prepares customer orders for shipment via UPS and LTL services.
- Manages documentation related to shipments, ensuring accuracy in merchandise verification, correct postage application, and completion of necessary BOL information for LTL shipments, while adhering to customer shipping guidelines and insuring shipments when required.
- Collects and verifies assembled orders in carts, confirming quantities and descriptions, and accurately records total merchandise quantity on invoices.
- Packages each order into appropriate containers and organizes them on shelves according to delivery routes.
- Confirms quantities and items against invoices prior to shipment.
- Provides support to other warehouse staff as needed.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned.
- Utilizes a Warehouse Management System scanner for order picking and material organization post-receipt.
Qualifications:
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Consistent attendance is essential.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electrical products.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and meet customer needs.
- Competence in basic mathematical calculations to complete job tasks accurately.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
