CareStaff Partners is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to fill a critical contract position at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Chambersburg, PA.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified professional to provide high-quality speech therapy services to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SLP, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced SNF environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language impairments.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to improve patients' communication skills, cognitive abilities, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient updates and share best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an outpatient clinic setting.
- A valid Pennsylvania Active License to practice as an SLP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and achieving exceptional outcomes.
This is a full-time contract position offering a competitive pay package of $1870-$2108 per week, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits include:
