KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear facility operations, serving as a resource and technical authority for engineering teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized technical knowledge to develop, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, initiatives, and programs.
  • Offering expert consultation and direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system challenges.
  • Assuming engineering and technical leadership for both immediate and long-term projects that influence site operations.
  • Executing engineering tasks as directed by management while applying sound engineering principles.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, thoroughness, and promptness of work, maintaining proper configuration management, and adhering to established design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Conducting independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
  • Recommending equipment, innovative concepts, and methodologies to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with regulatory changes.

LEVELS OF ENGAGEMENT

This engineering position is available at Mid, Senior, or Senior Staff Engineer levels. Please refer to the qualifications outlined below for each level.

EXPECTED SALARY RANGE:

Mid-level: $88,000

Senior Level: $115,000

Senior Staff Level: $138,000

Salary ranges are annual and based on experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mid-level E02 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering with 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
  • Senior E03 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Senior Staff E04 Engineer: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years of engineering experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
  • Experience in Commercial Nuclear Power Plant operations.
