We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Policy Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Medical Policy Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies that ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations, including medication therapy management and patient safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to pharmacy staff on policy implementation and interpretation.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends to inform policy decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
