Job OverviewThis Diagnostic Imaging Specialist role plays a vital part in performing diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine/PET CT procedures under the direction of a qualified Physician, Chief, and/or Senior Technologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Radionuclides and Radiopharmaceuticals, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with the healthcare team.
About the Role- Duration: Ongoing
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Per Diem
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of specific body parts, adhering to Federal, State, Local, Hospital Policies and Regulations.
Requirements- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear)
- And/Or: Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Preferred: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) or (RT)
- Obtain a CT Registry for PET/CT from American College of Radiology within one year of employment
- CPR Certified (BLS)
- Knowledge of the needs and behaviors of infant, child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients preferred
