We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Sopris Lodge at Carbondale. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facility.

• Ensure a Clean and Safe Environment: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility, including resident living and recreational areas.
• Coordinate Housekeeping Services: Work closely with nursing services to ensure that daily housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain Housekeeping Cart and Utility Closets: Ensure that housekeeping carts and utility closets are stocked and organized, and that supplies are properly stored and secured.
• Report Maintenance Needs: Identify and report any maintenance needs, including damaged or loose fixtures, flooring, or tiling, and any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment.
• Wash and Sanitize Resident Rooms: Ensure that resident rooms are cleaned and sanitized after resident discharge.
• Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed, and perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential for this role.
• Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and safe.
• Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Objects: The ability to lift and move heavy objects is required for this position.
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential for this role.

• Bilingual: Bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are preferred for this position.
• Previous Housekeeping Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required.
