Job Summary

We're seeking a Part Time Substitute Educator to join our team. As an Educator, you'll play a vital role in delivering our dynamic daily curriculum, engaging children in academic and social character-building activities, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Organize program materials and document attendance, incidents, and observations
  • Deliver our curriculum to engage children in learning and character-building activities
  • Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss progress and team accountability
Requirements
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; preferred: 2 years of college or an A.A. degree
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
  • Commitment to healthy living and inspiring a love of learning
  • State-specific requirements: LIVE Scan fingerprint, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate with Negative TB Test
