Healthcare Specialist

At Critical Access Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Specialist to join our team in Alaska. As a Healthcare Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing one-time non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Your primary responsibility will be to review pertinent medical history documentation and conduct thorough examinations using a web-based examination form.
You will also be responsible for capturing responses during the exam and ensuring all documentation is completed electronically. Once the exam is complete, you will send the results to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, you will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings options.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Doctoral degree in Medicine (M.D.) or a related field
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Alaska
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
