Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our flightline maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft structures, structural components, and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structures, structural components, and aircraft systems
  • Rig, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, and aircraft systems
  • Maintain and repair aircraft components, including landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls
  • Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years C-130J flight line maintenance experience
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical components and ability to troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and replace parts/components
  • Broad working knowledge of C-130J aircraft systems, including hydraulics, structures, engines, and electrical systems
  • Experience performing periodic, hourly, special, or calendar inspections
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools, such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and powered/non-powered support equipment
  • Proficient with using USAF Technical Orders, Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS), documentation of AFTO 781 forms, and entering data into the Integrated Maintenance Data Systems (IMDS)
Desired Skills
  • 7-Level Aircraft Mechanic or equivalent
  • Advanced Systems School
  • C-130J APU/Engine Run certification
  • C-130 Aero Repair (AR) experience
