Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fulham Terrace, a 116-unit senior community in Riverview, FL. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of our community, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildings
  • Remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or more
  • Prepare make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments, prior to make-ready
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner
  • Clean available apartments and/or models
  • Troubleshoot/repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems, including HVAC
  • Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the community
  • Assist office personnel with other various tasks required
  • Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc.
  • Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shop
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferred
  • Light carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; painting
  • Computer literacy is a plus but not required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Outstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environment
  • Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation
Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands

The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends. A rotating on-call schedule may be required. Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors. Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirements.
