Job Summary:

Morrow-Meadows Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support our field operations. The successful candidate will work closely with our foremen and general foremen to ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently, allowing them to focus on supporting electricians in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain as-built/record drawings in our electronic document control system.
  • Assist foremen/safety engineers with new hire paperwork, orientation, and training.
  • Distribute mail to foremen, including copying or emailing scheduled updates.
  • Assist material handlers with filing and follow-up paperwork, such as backorders.
  • Support QA/QC managers with filing and documentation.
  • Manage California State license lists for journeymen and training numbers.
  • Assist with timekeeping duties for field employees.
  • Track tool orders, returns, damaged tools, and stolen tools.
  • Complete daily job journals with input from foremen.
  • Assist with manual checks and termination slips, and send information to payroll.

Requirements:

  • Trade-related education or industry-related experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can improve documentation processes.
  • Good attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and dependability.
