We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Highland Park Health Care in Okmulgee, OK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
  • Ensure accurate and safe medication administration, adhering to the "five rights" of medication.
  • Monitor residents for reactions and side effects of medications and report to a licensed nurse.
  • Administer PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
Requirements:
  • State certification as a nurse aide
  • State-approved medication administration certification
  • Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide
  • Highly developed observation skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
