Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at AMR. As a Paramedic, you will provide high-quality emergency medical care while leading a team on the scene of incidents.

Your role will involve assessing situations, utilizing medical equipment, and communicating effectively with patients and their families. With a commitment to compassionate service, you will also engage in community programs to enhance the organization's public image.

The ideal candidate will have a state Paramedic License, BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification, and some work experience in healthcare. A strong driving record and ability to pass a Physical Agility Test are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,168.80-$88,907.52 DOE (Based on Full Time, Non-Exempt position), and this position is bonus eligible.
