Quality Training Associate

As a Quality Training Associate in the Perishable Department at Food Lion, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain proper product levels in all areas within the Perishable Department, including meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, and ice cream. You will also be responsible for wrapping, labeling, weighing, and stocking the meat case as requested or needed. Additionally, you will ensure that all advertising and sales promotion materials applicable to the department are properly utilized. You will maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices. You will also understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures. Furthermore, you will report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will wear the Food Lion uniform with apron, complete with name badge, when on duty, and have a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code. You will successfully complete Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packet, and Training Aid courses. A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred. You will be able to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functions. You will be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials.
