Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

A registered or registry-eligible technologist responsible for providing high-quality and cost-effective radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in a customer-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of examinations, including documentation and reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved program in radiologic technology.
• Registration or registry eligibility within 90 days of graduation.
• Current knowledge of radiologic practices and procedures.
• Competency in all procedures within the scope of practice.
• Good customer service skills and teamwork attitude.
• ARRT registration and current West Virginia license or eligibility to apply.
• BLS certification or eligibility.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 40. The shift is exempt/non-exempt, and the company is WVU Medicine.
