Job Summary:
A registered or registry-eligible technologist responsible for providing high-quality and cost-effective radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in a customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of examinations, including documentation and reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved program in radiologic technology.
- Registration or registry eligibility within 90 days of graduation.
- Current knowledge of radiologic practices and procedures.
- Competency in all procedures within the scope of practice.
- Good customer service skills and teamwork attitude.
- ARRT registration and current West Virginia license or eligibility to apply.
- BLS certification or eligibility.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 40. The shift is exempt/non-exempt, and the company is WVU Medicine.
