Interventional Radiology Technologist Position in Athens, Georgia

About the Job
Focused on delivering exceptional patient care, we are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at a prominent healthcare facility in Athens, Georgia. This 13-week contract position offers a unique opportunity for professionals to showcase their skills and expertise while contributing to the well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures
- Assist radiologists in performing exams, ensuring clinical excellence and precision
- Monitor equipment performance, maintaining optimal functionality and efficiency
- Develop and maintain proficiency in various clinical systems, including McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiographer
- Independent decision-making skills, with a solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Maintain regular attendance, meet local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will receive a tax-free stipend and access to benefits, including:
