Job Overview

Landid is seeking a seasoned Logistics Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement category management in U.S. transportation and logistics. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve logistics efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve logistics efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to understand transportation and logistics requirements.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability targets.
  • Develop and analyze metrics to track vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key carriers and service providers to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics or purchasing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of the chemicals industry and associated modes of transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience utilizing SAP and/or Ariba.
  • Experience in barge and/or packaged truck modes of transportation.
