Diesel Technician Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Technician Apprentice to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our company, working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining clean facilities with friendly faces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with roadside services and learn preventative maintenance services.
• Develop skills in electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning and heating diagnostics and repairs, wheel end assembly diagnostics and repairs, air system diagnostics and repairs, air brakes diagnostics and repairs, charging system diagnostics and repairs, and basic computer diagnostics and auxiliary component replacement.
• Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, and working in various temperatures.
• Put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
